Maersk Oil licensed Clean Energy Systems’ technology which is designed to create zero emissions power plants which generate electricity, water, and CO2 without producing harmful emissions like NOX and SOX. In this project, Designimations created an animation that walks the viewer through the process from start to finish in a larger scaled power plant. This is similar to the J-79 animation, especially at the beginning and end; however, the center section of the animation describes a larger power plant with a combined cycle power generation process using the OFT-900 and a recovery steam turbine. This version makes use of a Westinghouse, now Siemens, SGT-900. By replacing the traditional combustor cans with oxyfuel reheaters, the turbine becomes a clean burning, zero emission OFT-900.
